Glyndebourne/Gleesons, Harrisons Lane & Potato Lane Appeals

KEEP OUR CHILDREN SAFE

Lewes District Council Planning Officers have recently REFUSED two applications to develop land next to Ringmer Primary School for 200 or 75 houses. The developers have now submitted PLANNING APPEALS for both schemes – WE MUST ACT NOW to object to these appeals.

HOW TO OBJECT?

The outcome of the appeal will be in the hands of an independent Planning Inspector so we must lodge objections in the right way, previous comments won’t count. March 23rd is the deadline so DO IT NOW! and spread the word.

There are two appeals but the planning inspectorate confirms you can lodge your appeal for both on the main case, just ensure you make it clear in comments you are commenting on both appeals. The main case is here:

https://acp.planninginspectorate.gov.uk/ViewCase.aspx?caseid=3314192

If you have time copy and paste your comments into the second case to be doubly sure comments count for both. The secondary case is here:

https://acp.planninginspectorate.gov.uk/ViewCase.aspx?Caseid=3315235

Here are some prompts you may find useful – add to and submit what matters to you (please do not copy and paste as this will hold less weight, comments do not need to be long, submit what you can):

• ROAD TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS WAITING TO HAPPEN

• LARGE NUMBERS OF HEAVY LORRIES THUNDERING ALONG GOTE LANE & POTATO LANE

• CONSTRUCTION TRAFFIC FIGHTING ITS WAY ALONG HARRISONS LANE

• LOSS OF LARGE NUMBERS OF ON-ROAD PARKING SPACES IN HARRISONS LANE

YEARS OF DISRUPTION

• NOISE, DUST & DIRT DAMAGING CHILDREN’S HEALTH

VISUAL IMPACT ON OUR LOCAL LANES & SOUTH DOWNS

Please take the time to submit an objection. Together we are a powerful voice. Let’s show the Planning Inspectorate just how much we object to this dangerous and inconsiderate development.

Join the Campaign

Join the campaign and encourage family, friends and neighbours to join us too. By joining you will be kept up-to-date with what’s happening and supported in making your voice heard. You do not have to live in Ringmer to join us.

The more people join, the stronger our campaign.  Don’t just sign up as one household. Encourage everyone in your household to join individually.

We’ll only ever use your data to update you on campaign progress, give advice and to ask you to take part. You can remove yourself at anytime.
